Founded in 2019 by Jeremy Hutchinson and Brady Hutchinson. The inspiration for Rentii came from an adventure; a summer road trip with kids. Needing a well-insulated cooler for a 10-day trip with two young children, Jeremy spent several hundred dollars on a cooler that would inevitably only be used a few weeks per year. There had to be a better way- if only he could have a cooler when needed and not be burdened with a large and expensive cooler in storage, an idea was born: connect a peer-to-peer network of adventurers, to make exploring more accessible. At Rentii we provide an alternative- connecting unused gear with those seeking a new trail,  mountain, lake, or campsite.
